HERE WE GO!

Stop 1: Ruiterbosch

From Mossel Bay, head past Hartenbos on the R328 toward Brandwacht.
Ruiterbosch offers loads of relaxing spots to enjoy refreshments and soak in the atmosphere, with the lush fynbos-rich Ruiterbosch Nature Reserve on the Outeniqua Mountains’ northern slopes.

Stop 2: Oudtshoorn

Continue on the R328 to Oudtshoorn, where a myriad of activities awaits.
Visit the famous Cango Caves or explore one of many ostrich farms, immersing yourself in this vibrant town’s unique offerings for an unforgettable stop.

Stop 3: De Rust

Ride from Oudtshoorn to De Rust on the R328. This small town, a multiple “Town of the Year” winner, is rich in olive and wine farms, a sanctuary you’ll never want to leave.

Stop 4: Meiringspoort Pass

Meiringspoort Pass stuns with its towering cliffs and winding roads. Stop at the waterfall for a refreshing break and take in the Karoo’s raw beauty. This iconic pass is a centerpiece.

Stop 5: KlaarStroom

Stay on the N12 from Meiringspoort to the quaint little town of Klaarstroom. Blink and you might miss it, but this charming stop offers a serene pause on your adventurous ride.

Stop 6: Prince Albert

From Klaarstroom, take the R407 to Prince Albert, a town rich in history and great local cuisine.
End your ride here, returning via the same route or explore the Karoo further.
